The idea that Hengler’s coverage of this story means he’s a “pervert” is just ridiculous. Is it the most important issue out there? Not even close. But it’s obviously of interest, or all you who’ve commented wouldn’t have.

It is particularly worth covering on a conservative blog, as Prejean increasingly appears to be a woman who took advantage of the conservative movement for personal gain.
Might I remind the naysayers that Michael Medved endorsed Doug Hoffman in NY?

Those who would throw such an important election—one which could derail much of the uber-Left agenda currently on the table—are not conservatives. I don’t doubt that many of them are good people who, like most Americans, possess many conservative values. But they lack the logic and rationale that separates us from the emotionally-driven Left. They are the Useful Idiots, depended upon by the very people they despise.
