I don't think homosexuals are looking to force churches to have marriage services for them. For one thing, it is just not within the powers of the government to force churches to go against their beliefs. As far as immigration goes, we should try to stop all illegal immigration, but make it easier to get in legally. I say we should make it easier because my mother married an immigrant and he didn't come here illegally, but because of the pace that government does paperwork in he ended up being illegal. It's ridiculous, he's married to a citizen and he has family here who are citizens, but because the paperwork is having to go through 2 judges, in two states, he can't be a citizen. He has a college degree and he has to take crap jobs...

DId you only read half the article or something? He isn't saying that Pres. Obama should have done nothing he is saying he shouldn't be such a wimp once he decides to move against Qaddafi. The reference to WWI is essentially saying that you can't make a good government come in just by military action. Sowell believes that Obama is going to half-a** this and leave Libya before a decent government can be put into place. Essentially, Obama is getting rid of one dictator to make room for another.

I see that this article has spurred the great 'who is more racist' debate. I consider it a distraction from the real issue. Are liberal protesters really acting so violently? Not that I'm accusing Ann of lying. Yet, i've noticed that it seems to have been glossed over.

You know, it's a little hard to take you seriously when you reduce several paragraphs into "All liberals are crazy. All liberals hate the US. Blah, Blah, whine, simper, bawl, etc.. etc.". Especially, when she never said anything about liberals hating anyone. What about commenting on all the instances of liberal protester violence? Got any counter? And the point about the New Black Panthers (because the original Black Panthers do not associate themselves with those thugs) is that they got away with it. They were going to be charged, but then the case was just dropped because some higher up ordered it.
