I can appreciate your passion, but Rush and Sean make a very valid point when they talk about how bad an idea 3rd party is. The fact is, even if your dream comes true, and a 3rd party overtakes the GOP in support and popularity, you're still splitting the vote in the greater contest of left versus right. The Democrats will win every time, TBTG, and where will that leave all of us? It's a much better idea to work on reforming the Republican party and refining our message and appeal so that we can attract and secure a true majority (+50%) and win elections.

How long would you be willing to put up with Democrats in power, TBTG, until you'd accept this?
