People involved in their local Tea Party movements are searching for local candidates and are vetting them. Regardless of whether the candidates are R or D, we are looking for CONSERVATIVES. Look at how close the race in NY23 came? Just because the conservatives rallied; imagine if they had had time to really campaign for him? The Tea Party movement is trying to get started NOW in identifying conservative candidates they can fully endorse and support. The Tea Party movement is working to promote candidates we can be proud to support. The more I look back at the McCain campaign, the more I am convinced McCain was set up to lose from the beginning.

Well, it is that time of year when most of us have unwrapped all of our gifts, eaten too much ham and pumpkin pie, and started to think about making a New Year's Resolution. We've been spending time reflecting and pondering on what aspects of our lives, personal or professional, we would most like to improve.

But today I have a recommended New Year's Resolution for all of my fellow Conservatives across the country -- one that has nothing to do with losing weight, quitting smoking or reading more. Instead, it has everything to do with saving our country.
