But tuberculosis, mononucleosis, herpes, colds, the flu — these all CAN be passed by saliva. There is no evidence that anything less than heavy alcohol consumption causes brain damage, while there IS evidence that moderate pot use does brain damage. So legality might be ONE issue, but I don't think that mere situation IS a major issue. The evidence that led legisltors to taking that action, THAT is the main issue. Making it illegal IS logical, AND moral. Water has killed a lot of people, too. There are pot related deaths (traffic accidents, blunders with firearms, and more), but few are documented as such. Standby: that is about to greatly change.

By your "reasoning" (oh! too bad! Thanks for playing!), There is virtually no substance that could be outlawed, as everything ultimately has a natural origin. Clearly you decided prior to hearing anything, what the only permisible conclusion could be. This was not a technical articale, so impugning it for not be technical is just stupid (hey: take another hit before I go on). But Emmett DID say "almost all the science and research is going on one direction -- pointing out the dangers of marijuana use." That gives you (and all others who read this piece) a starting point. Do the research yourself, and take your propaganda somewhere else!
"We investigated," "we heard testimony," "we tried to reach a fair conclusion": Sharing these things is not sharing anything "secret." It is well known that ALL grand juries hear testimony, see evidence, and try to reach conclusions. I think their handing down an indictment is utterly preposterous, but I cannot fathom how inaccurately accusing this grand juror falsely remedies or addresses making a bad choice to indict Perry.
Fractured eye socket.
This is not loving your neighbor as yourself. It is right to be ready, but it is also right to grieve for these, our fellow humans, who are in such dire straits, causing such suffering to those around them.
It was the LACK of attention to missing NON-whites that Cal was highlighting.

They aren't married at all. This is sheer pretending, with the state being involved.

First of all, you don't know what time of day this event took place. God does not need the kind of permission that a human would need, for the same actions. God has numbered our days since before one of them was. But when God pulls you out of this world, it is not murder, where if another human pushes you out the door, it is. We do not know whether God explained this to Mary or not — you find yourself trying to argue from the negative. But, in Luke 1:38, after Mary is told of this, she DOES giver her permission: "Mary said, 'Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.'" Mary loved God, and was clearly willing to follow God's instructions. In fact, Mary exulted over this. Starting in Luke 1:46, Mary says, "'My soul exalts the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. For He has had regard for the humble state of His bondslave; For behold, from this time on all generations will count me blessed!'" You don't know the first thing about this, Will.
Not a legitimate comparison. It was common to put the rifle over the top of a barrier, and just spray the area with bullets, without putting your head over the edge to look. When fire came from a tree line, you (the whole platoon, or the whole fire team of 4, whatever) just peppered the tree line without any attempt to acquire a target. That all uses a LOT of bullets! Police behavior is nothing like this.
