This is not rocket science. We the people pay taxes to the federal government. Our elected leaders take our money and redistribute it to special interests, friends, donors, favored voting blocks, farmers, busineses, non-profit groups, etc. In return, the pols get votes. Whether Dems or Repubs, it is the same. Only the names of the recipients of your tax dollars change with each change of power in Washington. At present, the system is so corrupt, and the power is so entrenced, that merely electing new politicians will not fix the problem. If you want real change, stop paying taxes. Starve the beast. As long as we continue to enable corruption in Washington by paying the money that creates the corruption, nothing will change.
