There is no fear that if KSM gets off in a criminal court he will be released into the general population; none. This is not even a consideration. Everyone who is serious about this case knows this. The issue is whether or not KSM should be held indefinitely without trial. There have been over 300 terrorists that have been tried and convicted in the criminal courts and only 3 that have been tried in military tribunals. If we suggest that KSM should be tried and convicted for his crimes this is the place to do it. If we want to hold him indefinitely without trial we were on the right course. Military tribunals have not been very successful as a means of processing terrorists.
