I think this is an example of what the loyal opposition should be doing. It would garner some points with me. Little changes over time are as important as the big ones. Finding little changes like this also helps to change the bureaucratic culture. People do better when they have a means to make dramatic difference. Highlighting small improvements gives people purpose and meaning to their work.

If Ryan were being smart about it he might even suggest that Obama might benefit by having some business people around the office. It's a good line, it makes the point, and it is the truth.

It has taken six months, a few trillion dollars and the sacrifice of a few long-time foreign allies, but the Obama Administration has finally gotten something right. It is not what Joe Biden said about Russia though that was correct. Surely the President had to bite down on something to avoid screaming after that comment. No folks, it is the cost savings they have announced wrung out of the federal budget.
