My grandfather died on Monday after a long battle with various medical issues. He was 86. He was a great man. He served his country well. He had great insurance through his employer (GM) and had Medicare even when GM tried to reduce his insurance coverage.

My grandfather had great doctor(s) who he had a personal relationship for many years. They encouraged him to fill out a DNR, Living Will, Advanced Directive when he got sick the first time based on his wishes.
