Did the Left ever tone down its rhetoric during Bush's terms? No, it did not. In fact, books and movies openly championed the thought of his assassination.
Brian: What books? What movies? I pretty well read and have some knowledge of modern culture. I haven't run across these books and films. I do know that our supposed establishment media was not suggesting that Bush was out to destroy America. I don't know of many people suggesting that Bush should have been removed by force.
