What kind of a "scientist" are you?
Brian; I am not a scientist. That is why I look for consensus among scientists, as should you. One is not expected to understand all the science in order to come to a conclusion as to what to do with it. One should be able to ascertain the credibility of a source and weigh the quality of one over another.
I can smell b.s. a mile away, and I know that anyone who accepts a petition sent out as the global warming deniers petition was over professional groups and organizations is a fool. I also know that people like Steve McIntyre continually make wild claims that are rejected by the scientific community...
