So DON'T WATCH IT! Change the channel! Is someone holding a gun to your head and forcing you to watch? Don't forget that the FOX network is owned by the same people as FOX News hardly a liberal organization. Not to mention this pesky first amendment thing...

So your argument is that conservatives should like in a conservative media bubble? That's interesting: most liberals on here deride conservatives for doing so.

The Fox Network may be owned by the same people that own Fox News, but they are run by two entirely different divisions. This seems to be a common cause of confusion on the left.

The First Amendment guarantees that Seth can speak his mind. It doesn't guarantee he has a "right" to do so on network TV.

"So your argument is that conservatives should like in a conservative media bubble?" - No, not what I said at all.

"The Fox Network may be owned by the same people that own Fox News, but they are run by two entirely different divisions. This seems to be a common cause of confusion on the left." - No confusion here as I have worked for numerous multi division/multi national corporations. The profit ALL goes to one place however, The News Corporation. Perhaps Bozell and others who have an issue should direct their opinions at the proper source. Sell off any holdings?

"The First Amendment guarantees that Seth can speak his mind. It doesn't guarantee he has a "right" to do so on network TV. " - I NEVER said it did.

As a first amendment capitalistic free enterprise nation, FOX is free to air whatever they want. You DO NOT nor are you forced to view content you find objectionable. Feel free to direct your opinions to the News Corporation and the advertisers on the shows. Don't you find it hypocritical that Fox News leans so far right they'd almost fall over and FOX TV leans so far the other way? Hedging their bets or just laughing all the way to the bank?

That's not the point, not even CLOSE.

Look, these shows thrive because people watch them. YOU can elect to change the channel, but unless and until we as a society decide enough is enough, your personal decision is likely to have little effect.

Christians believe that the time is coming, when Christ will reign personally upon the Earth. At that time, it is said "Satan will be bound."

But what most Christians don't understand is, Satan's power will be limited because only the good and decent will dwell on the earth, and they simply WON'T LISTEN TO HIM ANY LONGER.

Bozell and others are simply reporting what they see. Your assumption that he's saying "we must outlaw this" is so far off the mark.

What he and others are saying is...

..."PLEASE, GOOD PEOPLE! STOP FUNDING THIS FILTH!"

If there were enough "good people" in America today, none of this stuff would sell. They wouldn't make it because there would be no profit in it. This is why the "golden age" of television and movies (and radio) were so decent. Yes, you can talk about the "Code" but that was a guideline that people agreed on, that no one really had the stomach to try to circumvent.

Then came the 1960s (though of course the origin was much earlier) and since then, it is "so cool" to be filthy. It's everywhere now, in nearly every aspect of media there is.

It's the Great Commission. If I can say or do something that may help save one more soul, then it's worth the wait and THAT would make me happy.
The year 2012 was a depressing time for people who are already pessimistic about the state of our common culture. Conversely, the re-election of Barack Obama, in large measure made possible by the heavy financial support of Hollywood, projects the optimism of the cultural Left. They anticipate increased blue-state voting patterns in favor of gay "marriage," legalized pot, gun regulations, and what next? Legalized prostitution? Euthanasia subsidized by Obamacare?

So let's just line up the cultural winners of Obama's America, where the only impediments to progress are those who believe in religion, manners and "family values."

Winner: Seth...
