The republicans are lousy communicators. They need to establish a clear message to set a narrative and educate the public. Everyday they need repeat something like - government can not collect an additional 4 billion dollars a day in new taxes just to close the deficit. (4 billion = daily borrowing). The money isn’t there. - The entitlement programs must be reformed. They are not sound as currently structured.

How can you teach someone who doesn't want to learn? The Obama experience of the last four years should have been the best teaching for anyone, yet did everybody learn? He is back in the WH!
I agree with someone who said, that it is not Obama and his catastrophic presidency that is most frightening, but the poeple who voted for him then and now!

Agree with DSMichael. The media in general would NEVER help such a message to reach the masses. marxists can disagree with me all they want, it would never happen.

When are we going to start contacting the companies that advertise on these LSM news programs and threaten to take our business elsewhere if they continue to advertise on a biased news show.

Amid all the political and media hoopla about the "fiscal cliff" crisis, there are a few facts that are worth noting.

First of all, despite all the melodrama about raising taxes on "the rich," even if that is done it will scarcely make a dent in the government's financial problems. Raising the tax rates on everybody in the top two percent will not get enough additional tax revenue to run the government for ten days.

And what will the government do to pay for the other 355 days in the year?

All the political angst and moral melodrama about getting "the rich" to pay...
