Are We at a Demographic Inflection Point?

Not against immigrants, as long as they become Americans, speak English, follow our laws. What is happening is the exact opposite and this sets up barriers that cause conflicts. We are one people, our forefather founded a united people. These past few years we have had a leader who has done his best to separate all of us along different lines, race, economic, beliefs, etc. Dividing us to no end. Tea Party people were screaming NO, this is about us, no you. We saw what happened in 2010, what could happen 2012 could be even more astounding and unite the people again.

Newsflash.....we always were and always will be separated in some senses, united in others.
Obama had nothing to do with it. He has done nothing but be kind, gracious and careful never to upset racist white crackers.

Too bad that Allitramp has NO common sense; Obama is a racist pig and is smart. that's why he hides his transcripts and papers.

Brian1301... but we are all God's children.. made in His image... remember? This shall be a transformative (Obama) experience according to him. America shall become black-Hispanic dominated. Surely no har from sucn will come. We willall get hogh together and everything will be peachy.

Demographic forecasts generally take the form of predicting more of the same.

Old people have been moving to Florida for the past several years, and old people will move there for the next few years. Immigrants have been streaming in from Mexico, and they will continue to do so. You get the idea.

Most of the time these forecasts prove right. But sometimes there are inflection points, times when some trends stop and others begin. My read of recent demographic data suggest we may be at such a point right now.

These inflection points are usually not...
