Obama Camp: Okay, Maybe We Did Know Soptic's Story After All

Given the record of the Obama Administration (DOJ misdeeds, EPA misdeeds, DHS misdeeds, blatant security leaks), the willingness of an Obama supporter Super Pac to intentionally place misleading ads is not surprising. The person with the most culpability is Joe Soptic who knowingly lied with the intent to slander Mitt Romney. I certainly hope that Mitt Romney sues this contemptible person for slander.

We've seen the denial, the smoking-gun lie, and now it's time for the sheepish and misleading back-track:

Obama campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki acknowledged Thursday that the campaign was no longer pleading ignorance about the story of a man who has appeared in both a super PAC ad and a campaign ad. "No one is denying he was in one of our campaign ads. He was on a conference call telling his story," Psaki told reporters on Air Force One.

Actually, Jen, you were foreswearing any knowledge of the Soptic...
