you wish you were 1/10 of the man Alan West is. You wouldnt know what courage, or honor, selfless service or sacrifice, or independance, or individualism or being American was if it slapped you in heartless face

Bonziiii .. if West showed any talent as a legislator he would have been reelected. He comes across as a bully and a blowhard. He had his chance and now that people know him, they don't like him. Good riddance to him!

Rep. Allen West is in still locked in an extremely tight race this morning that is too close to call with Democrat Patrick Murphy, but West is behind by 3,000 votes.

Patrick Murphy has 160,328 votes, or 50.4 percent, to West’s 157,782 votes, or 49.6 percent, with 100 percent of precincts reporting, according to the Associated Press, which has yet to call the race.

Murphy called the race for himself last night and already gave a victory speech. West has yet to concede.
