In response to:

Wait: Rubio Isn’t Being Vetted For VP?

Romney has stated that he is going to pick someone who is 'ready to be president' and... It's hard to say that about Rubio at this point in his career. Not to say I don't like him, because I do, his speech at the Reagan library this year was very good, and very conservative. I just think Florida republicans need him more than Romney does.

Well, did you like his speech at the CFR? Council on Foreign Relations -- big open borders organization? He's a phony, and he loves illegals better than he loves Americans. Haven't you gotten the clue yet?

Seriously?

Even before the Republicans chose a presidential nominee it was widely assumed that Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., would be at the top of anybody's list of vice presidential candidates. The reasons are obvious: Not only is he young, charismatic and wildly popular with conservatives, but he could also help Republicans win a key state (Florida) and make inroads with Hispanics.

But knowledgeable Republican sources tell me that Rubio is not being vetted by Mitt Romney's vice presidential search team. He has not been asked to complete any questionnaires or been asked to turn over any financial documents...
