Good news. I wonder if he'll still be in the Congressional Black Caucus after he's elected? The vast majority of the others in the CBC would be glad if he list this election, what does that tell you?

don't have much respect for the Congressional Black Caucus...so does not tell much more than - Col. West is still a great representative.

As to the issue of authoring and passing laws - we really don't need more laws or legislators creating laws for the sake of creating them.

*lost* this election (TH, is it possible to add an "edit" feature to comments - at least until such time as they gain a response?

??? I'm not sure what Rodney is responding - I sometimes comment on sites with Disqus - which allows edits of comments until a response is logged (Which makes sense - it would be bad if you could type one thing to 'bait' folks - get a crazy resonse, and then change your original post to discredit them, e.g. Rodney - are you just saying - we all make mistakes? or something like that? Not trying to be dense, I just got lost...

Apparently, this political ad from September worked:

Rep. Allen West is beating his Democratic opponent Patrick Murphy in the race for a newly drawn Florida congressional district by nine points according to a new poll released yesterday.

Among likely voters surveyed, 51 percent support West and 42 percent back Murphy. Eight percent are undecided.

The same poll, conducted by Public Policy Polling (PPP), found Mitt Romney leading President Barack Obama in District 18 by a 50 percent to 45 percent margin.
