Marco Rubio is a true leader. He is willing and able to lead. He understands a breadth of domestic and foreign policies. He stuck his neck on the line on immigration and knew when to pull his support. Those who attack him are just being dumb.
Medical Marijuana is a fraud. That being said, legalization is OK with me. I have no intention to use it and I doubt that 10 years after legalization we will see any real negative impacts in our society. What we will see is fewer people in jail for smoking weed.
Hmmm but it is OK for Kanye to perform at the White House? What Nugent said was not good, but come on people.

We swept 2010 because of the economy, and we could have done better if not for some bad "tea party" candidates. The Tea Party has a place in the conservative movement, but it cannot have unilateral control.

Cruz epitomizes much of the angry conservative mentality. I think Cruz is terrible for the party and for the country who desperately needs a strong GOP. His divisive and overarching negative message is not helpful. His policy stances are in general good, but his anger and mentality leave much to be desired.

Wrong. We need Republicans to stop talking about what Obama is doing and start talking about what economic liberty and individual responsibility can do to lift up everyone, including the poor and disadvantaged.

Ohh I am sorry, it is only OK for the Tea Party to attack those of "establishment" Republicans who think rationally?

Ted Cruz called those who disagreed with his shutdown tactics members of the "surrender caucus". Cruz split the party by going around Boehner to convince people not to support anything but a shutdown. This ruined any negotiation possibilities, because the GOP is not unified. Not everyone must agree, but within the GOP we must agree on a tactic.

I am tired of the angry conservative mentality. 1) This country is still the greatest on Earth 2) Conservativism is ultimately about compassion for the poor, not about keeping your money 3) The poor and disadvantaged can only lift themselves out of poverty with opportunity, we should support smaller government in order to prosper the poor 4) We should support immigration reform because we don't want people here illegally to be used and abused, not to protect "true Americans". We should be pro-immigrant and anti-illegal immigration 5) We are pro-life because we care passionately about the life of the unborn, not because we hate those who focus on the mother 6) We don't believe in traditional marriage because we hate gay people, but because we care about promoting mothers and fathers raising their children together 7) Most liberals don't hate this country, they are simply ignorant of the results of their proposals. We must educate them with love not hate.

No one is saying that Boehner is the answer. However, Ted Cruz's bullheadedness is not helpful either
