So which is wrong, the theory of evolution or that there is a "gay gene?"
I couldn't have said it better myself. I've always wondered why the same people who predominantly believe in evolution believe that there is a gay gene. Isn't the theory of evolution that only the strongest traits for survival of a species will prevail, while traits that don't accomplish that goal will die out. Unless homosexual couples can now have children that are biologically theirs and no one has reported that fact, shouldn't this fact dispute that there is a "gay gene?"

Yeah, that's pretty accurate. I'm unfortunately one of those students. If it wasn't for my physics teacher in high school I wouldn't even know what you were talking about. But, I will say despite my dependence on those TI-89s that do everything, I don't have the problem with basic math. Note: I'm not a studies-major. Too much self-respect and intelligence for that.
Writes: "I'm quite content to wait and see what develops. I don't think it outside the realm of possibility that the economy's turned around by 2012 - I also think it could still suck. Obama's reelection chances are, to my mind, decided by that, though."

And on this we can agree whole-heartedly. I am by no means an economist either, but I have the limited knowledge about it that most Americans have and I'm sure you do as well. I will add this is one of the best debates, used loosely of course, that I have had on this site.

You said, "Obama HAS begun to restore good faith in our relations with our allies. " Really, what allies do we have good faith with. Saudis now know that they can do as they please, China owns us. Israel, like 'em or leave 'em, is worse with us. And last I had heard Russia wasn't too happy with us either. So what allies are you referring to?
Writes: "So the next time they pull you over for speeding or coasting through a stop sign, you don't mind proving you're a citizen?

I'm sure you have nothing to do with child pornography. The police will be at your house tonight to search for child pornography. Since you have nothing to worry about, you don't have a problem with that, do you?

Nope, no problem at all with that. See, that's what my driver's license does when I'm asked for it, as I will be as soon as I'm pulled over. "License and registration, please" is not just a Hollywood idea. That's how it works. As for the whole searching my computer and home, well counter to what your hard drive might contain, mines rather clear of any pornographic material. Even if...
I hope and pray everyday that you'll be right and there will be an end to the help the poor, and the minorities and ignore the hard-workers who actually contribute more to society than just taking advantage of a flawed system in the form of entitlements.

From the first link I gave you about the President's ratings,

"During Election 2008, liberal blogger Nate Silver said that the Rasmussen tracking poll “would probably be the one I'd want with me on a desert island."

In 2008, Obama won 53%-46% and our final poll showed Obama winning 52% to 46%. While we were pleased with the final result, Rasmussen Reports was especially pleased with the stability of our results. On every single day for the last six weeks of the campaign, our daily tracking showed Obama with a stable and solid lead attracting more than 50% of the vote. "

Seems to me their polls are pretty accurate, but I'll let you continue to believe that they are not.

If this turns out as true, then we should be able to imprison all these jag-offs. Of course, Obama won't let that happen, but it should happen if they actually did contribute to this depression.
Continues to give me the impression that he does not understand true conservatism. How about getting rid of the bill so that companies don't have to worry about the already rising costs for current employees? AT&T losing a billion because of whats in the bill? Even if that is an overestimate, that still results in a large amount of money that one company loses. Repealing the bill is simply the start.
