I agree 100% Dr. Sowell. The democrat clowns have been in power long enough to mess this country up almost to the point of no return. Nov. 2 is G-Day (GET RID of incumbent bums). Time for a good fall cleaning.

What a tough decision! I love Atlas Shrugged and yet I feel so helpless (and ticked off) concerning this Climate Gate fiasco. I would like to know what the average citizen can do to stop this nightmare train (i.e. Pres.Obama,government) before it completely jumps the track. Maybe you should start with Climate Gate this week and Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged next week.

The Democrats keep racism alive by constantly accusing the right of racism - even though Republicans have done more for all minorities. Keeping the hatred stirred up empowers the left with their left-wing group agendas and they know that if you say something often enough people will believe it. I personally disliked Obama's past, his rhetoric, his arrogance, etc. I didn't vote for him but I was willing to give the man a chance because I thought it was wonderful to have a black man elected to the highest office. We cannot judge an entire race by a few bad men. If DR Sowell ran for president - he'd have my vote.

Are you nuts? When and where did Jesus argue against capitalism? He said "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's... in other words, pay your taxes. Does that sound like rebellion to you? And how is it that Jesus rebelled against established religion? He came to fulfill the Law. He was under the Old Law (which he nailed to the cross when he died) and He kept it perfectly. Come on!
