As a non-conservative I really agree with this article. If we want to continue living on this planet, like it or not we (all people) will have to find a way to live in homeostasis which includes energy, food, some form of commerce, etc. Just as your house must be kept up, we (again, all people) must take an active part in cleaning, and keeping clean, our planet. Not sure if you meant that for me, but what do I want? I want students to be able to go to school and sit in safety. I want them to learn as much as possible, about as many varied subjects as possible. I want sex education at early ages (all styles, abstinance and safesex), I want them to be taught to think for themselves, not just regurgitate information, but formulate thoughts on their own. I also think school should be year round. I think school is the job of children. And I think if you don't learn, you repeat. Anyone can be taught, just some take more and different approaches to the same subjects. But we also can't completely seperate the smart kids from the dumb, because that is the definition of classism and segregation. ...
