Best known for his lead vocals in the rock group Hootie and the Blowfish, Mr. Rucker’s first country solo album debuted at number one on the country charts. Obviously I’m not the only one who thinks he’s meant to sing country.

Ain't No Ambition in This Country Song
Who doesn't see this happening right now? Look at perhaps the most dumbed down music there is,IMHO, Hiphop/rap. At LEAST half of the hits they have produced are remakes of 60's, 70's, and 80's songs. They all it a "remix" cause that sounds so fresh. They can't come up with their own lyrics already, except of course if they are not saying things in public which decent people don't say in private, that is.
