Global warming is a man-made political issue . . . and that's all it will ever be! There is no scientific confirmation of global warming. Only a bunch of "experts" with opinions.

We've been warned about global warming for more than four decades now, before that the left told us there was global cooling, but in reality the Earth's average temperature was no different in 1980 than it is today. 59 degrees. At least according to the New York Times:

1988 article: http://www.nytimes.com/1988/03/29/science/temperature-for- world-rises-sharply-in-the-1980-s.html

2009 article:
Climate change and healthcare are two sides of the same coin. They are two overblown "man-made" political issues that power hungry left-wing Democrats say we need to spend trillions NOW, NOW, NOW on in order to solve. Never mind what happens to the future economy and standard of living in the United States. Never mind REAL issues like jobs, energy, immigration, social security, and national security.

Tom Friedman could not be more wrong(http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2009/12/18/world/worldwatch/entry5994673.shtml). There will be no "meaningful" compromise at Copenhagen. What an ideologue! Blowing off science (or lack thereof) to promote global warming, socialism, and sell his book.

The only possible thing that could...

Anybody see this last night during the panel on "Special Report w/ Bret Baier?"

When an intellectual giant like Charles Krauthammer calls the President disgusting, you know the President is doing a bad job. He basically said it's 'disgusting' how Obama takes cheap pot-shots at Bush every time something goes wrong in Afghanistan -- you know, Obama's "good" war.

Time to grow up and take accountability, Mr. President.

The Public Option Might Be Dead

Desperate Democrats like Obama and Harry Reid are out-of-touch with the general public and reaching for acceptance.

Any health reform bill starts with these ESSENTIAL provisions.:

> America REJECTS the Public Option
> America wants tort reform to stop frivolus medical malpractice lawsuits against doctors
> America wants purchasing healthcare insurance across state lines legalized, to increase choice and competition among carriers and drive down costs
> Give individuals the right to deduct the cost of their health insurance policy from their taxable income
> Allow people to organize into groups for the purpose of buying health insurance policies (i.e. private co-ops or purchasing pools)
> No public funds...

You are exactly right. Obama has no shame, nor love for this beautiful country. If Republicans had ANY power whatsoever, they should impeach Obama for national security reasons. But they don't, so it just won't happen.
How pathetic is this? The President can't sell Socialized Health Care, so now he's called on his minions to do so! From BarackObama.com:

"In many ways, the fight for health insurance reform comes down to a battle over information. The more people know about how broken the system is and the President's plan to fix it, the more they want change. But there are an awful lot of lies to cut through, and a whole lot of truth to get out.

So today, we're proud to announce a powerful new way for you to help: Organizing for America's Health Reform Video Challenge.

Anything short of General McChrystal's request for 40,000 additional troops shows a commitment by America to fail in Afghanistan. It certainly doesn't show a commitment to the Afghan people or our military, and will result in many unnecessary casualties to the innocent Afghan people and American soldiers. Worst of all, this half-baked strategy will keep America involved in Afghanistan longer than is absolutely necessary to finish the job of stabilizing the country.

This is President Obama's worst decision yet, and that is saying a lot. You cannot cost-cut a war and expect to win. You cannot put a price tag on human life and expect to win.

Afghanistan will be Obama's Vietnam, if he continues to ignore the general he...
