ABC Fired Stossel?

I have never been able to catch 20/20 so it is refreshing reading your colomns on TH. I will make the effort to watch your new show on FBN. I don't receive FBN but you have certainly compelled me to hammer my local provider.

My vote is for the Ayn Rand exposé! I began reading Atlas last year and it is fascinating and at the same time scary in its timeliness. Rand should be required reading in all high schools and biz schools. Why is Capitalism so hard for some people to embrace? Its biggest critics have made millions as Capitalists. It's like a tire company denouncing automobiles and supporting snowboards instead.

Toyota’s Deadly Secret

I too was looking for the satire. What a waste of time. I'm on my third Toyota and they are literally the best cars on the road. Recalls and accidents happen to all the car companies. If you want to see a nasty recall steeped in reality, wait until GM starts pumping out government-mandated, union-designed cars in 2011. Maximum Overdrive anybody?

You are correct, I need to pay attention to the details. No need to get bent out of shape over it. My point is still valid. Yes, I know the current state of college campuses is not open-minded and that is why it is absurd that TAMU is thrown under the bus. Can we talk about the hippie agenda at Texas instead? Or 500 other lib college campuses? TAMU is as close to Hillsdale as any state school will ever get. The only indoctrination going on at TAMU is Midnight Yell.

Calm down dude. Adams could be from your lame state for all I care. The point is that this article comes across as very homophobic and gives off a negative portrayal of my beloved school and its students. It implies that TAMU is close-minded when in fact its faculty and students hail from all over the world. Though the campus is comprised of primarily Christian conservatives, when did that make discussing taboo topics in class so evil?

You guys are idiots. I find the mangling of my Alma Mater's name to be absolutely tasteless. That's where the "Why the Hate" comes from. Again, could care less about the course being offered. If you don't like the course, don't take it! Sheesh. To this day, TAMU is 90% conservative. Not too shabby.

There is an entire building dedicated to English studies and its various offshoots so the class and topic were bound to happen. As a former student, I find the topic of this article pointless and the title offensive. Are you trying to deflect the economic and social failings of your state of California? Had to turn the spotlight on the most successful state and one of the greatest schools in this nation? Pathetic.

"Better" Health Care?

I have read these facts countless times in a dozen columns just like Stossel's here. Nothing new. But this would have been nice for John to read his column during the Obama Infomercial instead. Or at the steps of the Capitol or at a Tea Party. Sigh.
