Nightwatch's "analysis" is silly. There is one quick way to stop Israeli attacks on Gaza: Hamas can stop attacking Israel. But Hamas will not, because it uses terror attacks on civilians to try and force Israel to weaken its own security, by allowing dual-use (military and civilian) materials into Gaza, and allowing uninspected sea traffic into Gaza, which would only bring in more offensive weapons to be used against Israel. And the biggest omission in this report is the constant use of human shields by Hamas. Notice how all of the sites targeted by Israel seem to be hospitals, schools, apartment buildings and soccer fields. Turkey-Syria: Turkey's Foreign Minister announced at a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Djibouti that it recognized the new Syrian opposition coalition as the legitimate government of Syria.

Comment: Turkey is the second country to recognize the new leadership group. It joined France in urging other states to support the opposition with arms.
