Pretty well, actually. Against all odds, Israel survives, and thrives, some 64 years on. It's not perfect, but what nation is? And the way Israel fights its enemies is actually almost free of sin, as defined in the Bible. Israel goes to great pains, even at the expense of its own fighting men, to minimize civilian deaths, even as their enemies do all they can to maximize Israeli civilian deaths. Your efforts at moral equivalence are a fail, rmccarthy.

Take the war between Israel and Hamas that is taking place right now.

This war is as morally clear as wars get. Hamas is a terrorist organization dedicated to annihilating the Jewish state. It runs a theocratic totalitarian state in Gaza, with no individual liberty and no freedom of speech or press. In a nutshell, Hamas is a violent, fascist organization.
