"Reminder that service jobs are for the most part not exportable" That's what mass immigration is for.

"I'm not even in a union" That's no surprise since less than 10% of the private work force is even unionized these days, but still somehow manages to be the boogeyman responsible for all the woe's in the world.

Absolutely correct Robert1111, there is a traitor class in America who vigorously seek to destroy every job that doesn't earn slave wages. When the time comes they should be dealt with the same way we deal with traitors today.

Actually the Chinese army uses those pieces of paper decorated with pictures of old dead guys to buy up American companies, American utilities, and American public land; and then they keep a big stack of it somewhere to blackmail; "don't behave and we'll dump it all on the world market". Also the more foreigners that have "thosepaper with pictures of old dead guy" the more it costs to import oil or anything else.

In 1853 Commodore Perry sailed into Iron Age Japan and forced open trade with Isolationist Japan. This was done because it was feared that other 19th century powers would gain a trade advantage with Japan instead of the US. tIron Age Japan had no firearms of any kind, no Navy of any kind, and was no threat to anybody except other Iron Age countries within rowing distance (Korea). Japan rapidly industrialized. Within 40 years Japan joined the great powers in slicing China up. Within 80 years Japan invaded China, and within a few years after that Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. Nice to see the greedy merchants make the same mistake again, except this time when the next war comes we should draft the entire merchant class and force them to fight
