Sorry to raise your ire, but I did serve in the military and knew first hand many who served in Vietnam and they all thought it was a total waste. Many of them became anti-war protestors. If you read the Pentagon Papers you would know that the Vietnam war was a total fabrication and that our government lied to us, going back to Truman about Vietnam. Why do you think Nixon was so angry about the publication of those documents? Even McNamara realized the war was a joke as did the generals. Nixon even bombed an innocent country and tried to hide it from us.

Between his anti-Second Amendment rants and now saying he doesn't support the troops, liberal filmmaker Michael Moore sure has been in the news a lot lately. Moore recently wrote about his New Year's resolutions on his blog and said one of his goals is to stop saying he supports the troops because, he doesn't. He then wrote he will apologize for not supporting the troops, because it isn't their fault they get sent off to war.
