It is dumbfounding how this Administration is so hell-bent on "changes" the nature of which are against the real will of the informed populus.

A NYC trial of terrorists is an abomination.

When and how can we impeach??? !
Excellent piece,MM!

I recommend all go to http://www.hacres.com and then to "Testimonials."
MM, please expand your column to cover:

1 - Business leaders who are morally strong like Stanley Tam, founder/CEO of US Plastics Corp., Tom Chappell, founder/CEO of Tom's of Maine, etc.

2 - Types of business like co-ops, the first being founded by Ben Franklin as I recall, that have much more ownership involvement.

3 - The issue of a morally based society...as disclosed in the book "5000 years" by Skousen. There are three future scenarios:

1 - Things will either get better, get worse, or stay about the same. This useless comment gives one a grin. I.e., things will continue to muddle along.
2 - An overt war against Islam is needed, i.e., physically kill the enemy.
3 - Real Christians need to considerably step up missionary work to CONVERT Muslims to Christianity...and some of this is happening.

Time for an Immigration Moratorium

Bob Heltman Wrote: Dec 11, 2009 10:46 AM
What puzzles me, living in a vegetable-ag county, is that there are NO unemployed US native lawyers, engineers, managers, accountants or the like signing up to plant or pick our crops. Even with "10%" unemployment.

Labor laws seem to also disallow kids under 16, while years ago, with family farms, "child labor" was considered normal and good.

Add welfare, where those out of work can moonlight to add to unemployment checks and loaf on the backs of the rest of us.

The so-called immigration problem is wider than that; one must include status of work issues, social guarantees (welfare), etc.
