I am a bit baffled by the lack of outrage regarding this scandal. Nearly all the reporting and blogs including this one, point out that “U.S. lawmakers already are subject to the same penalties as other investors who use non-public information to enrich themselves, though no member of Congress in recent memory has been charged with insider trading.” Which means the lawmakers involved committed a felony. Is it too much to expect the Securities Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice, and even the ethics committees for the House and the Senate do their jobs? We all know that the Republican candidate is going to have to run against Obama; as well as ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and nearly all the rest of the media. I keep vacillating between Mitt and Newt because I frankly think their positions and policies will be roughly the same. Mitt’s temperament will make him a better President… Newt’s temperament makes him better suited to counter-punch at his media adversaries. An ability he has demonstrated several times already.

Evidently, the Obama administration is not really opposed to fat-cat bankers making huge salaries. They just don’t want the free market to make the decision of who makes how much. Obama wants the Czar and the Politburo to decide WHICH bankers make huge salaries and how much they make. If there were any real journalists at the AP, they would check to see how many of these guys are campaign contributors.

Let's look on the bright side. I have seen a lot of reports where Dems are running away from her. I even saw one commercial where the Democratic candidate promised NOT to support her for Speaker. Even if she gets re-elected, She will be kicked out as Speaker.

What Obama does not understand, or simply tries to ignore, is that even Velma Hart has caught on. At the end of her question she said: And frankly, Mr. President, I need you to answer this honestly. Even his supporters know that his default setting is to LIE.

Face it, Obama is all image and no substance. Washington has become like Hollywood for people who can't sing or dance... It's all about being a celebrity.

Right and worng no longer matter. Television Journalism has become an oxymoron. The only thing that counts is filling up the time between the ads.

He is on a liberal network, so he serves up what they want to hear. Keep the audience fat dumb and happy!

It makes little difference to me what religion (if any) The President practices. It is what he says and does that counts. If a born again Christian made the same closed minded, agenda driven decisions he has made, I would be equally angry.

The problem is his world view, his bias if you will, that minorities are always the victims, and that white, heterosexual males; capitalism; and the evil corporations spawned by them are always the victimizers. He is clearly an anti-establishment radical. That is his default position, his knee-jerk response to any situation. That creates the appearance of being a Muslim or even racist at times. It also makes him WRONG most of the time.

The country that defends and protects RELIGIOUS FREEDOM, has to check the rental agreement to see if RELIGIOUS FREEDOM is OK. But the religion that claims it is OK to kill "infidels" who practice RELIGIOUS FREEDOM, is permitted to build a mosque close to a site where thousands died at the hands of religious fanatics, in the name of their religion?

Do I have that right?
