A check of Historical records prove that when we have a warm period, such as a thousand years ago, we have less severe weather. That is what took place when the Vikings sailed their over sized canoes, thousands of miles across the North Atlantic to Greenland. The Colony they settled there lasted until the 1500's when a cool period began, and the trip to and from became too hazardous for their ships. There are a lot of very good Scientists out there, however our media seems to prefer quoting the Political Scientist, rather than the real Scientist.
