I'm sorry, Mr. Kerry, the threat from Climate Change is NOTHING like ISIS. ISIS is a REAL threat, not a manufactured one.
"... 'If it’s an American flag – everybody is excited about it,' he said. 'But what if it’s the Nazi flag or another flag you might not be congruent with?'...” ----------------------------------- Easy. Change the rule to state that ONLY the American flag or the state flag may be flown from flagpoles. Problem solved.
Yes, but it was JOHN (Give Peace a Chance) Lenin.

How is that, in the 50's, we had the best educated students in the world? There was no federal Department of Education back then. Class sizes were typically 30-40 students. We didn't have Washington telling us what we could eat for lunch. Much of our learning was rote memorization. There were few, if any, highfalutin pedagogues opining absurd, new teaching theories. We didn't have NEARLY as many school administrators. There were no guidance counselors below the high school level. The kids weren't drugged with Ritalin. We played (gasp) dodge ball. And we were the best educated in the world. I wonder what happened?

I've often wondered... if we took the ineducable, inner-city thugs out of the equation, how does our education system compare THEN?

Thank you.
You've just made Mr. Hawkins's point. I wish you well.

"... The solution is to reform the corporate tax code by slashing the rate to 20 percent..." ------------------------------------- That merely perpetuates the myth that corporations pay taxes. They don't. Corporate "taxes" get lumped in with other "costs" of doing business, eg, labor, materials, marketing, insurance, rents... The Cost of Goods sold (CGS) or Cost of Sales (COS) is used, among other things, to determine prices. WE pay ALL of those costs when we purchase those goods or services. So corporations don't really "pay" taxes. It's more accurate to say they "collect" them -- from US.

"... Citing 'institutional racism' only seeks to perpetuate an issue that doesn’t exist here in America..." ---------------------------------------------- Huh? Doesn't exist? Institutional racism is VERY real here in America. In Black America, anyway.
