Given his age and the relative paucity of positions to be filled, I suspect that Pat will begin a push to increase the size of, say, the Supreme Court. The feds can draft you if conditions warrant conscription. Why shouldn't a crappy health care environment trigger the compulsory axcquisition of insurance? Personal autonomy is grossly overplayed by the right. Truth is that on their own the vast majority of citizens would sink like boulders in the sea.

1)We'd have gotten bin Ladin and wiped out al queda. In other words retaliated for 9/11/01.

2)There'd be no Iraq war and Sadaam would keep things quiet in that area.

3)Sadaam's Iraq would serve as an Iran counter.

4)Our national debt wouldn't be down in whale turd territory.

last best hope started with Reagan. Successive presidents have stood by while corporate America has turned us into a polar opposite of what we were. Our enevitable eventual demise will not result in spasms of sadness within earth's denizens. Rather, there's more apt to be a gigantic sigh of relief.

The contents of a womb are not a baby for most of the gestation, so your "murder charge" is stupid at best. For most of the gestation those contents are at best potential babies. Actually, chances of a fertilized egg making it through the first couple of weeks is about 1 in 3. Mother Nature is a tough task mistress.

If you don't get your perspective to conform to reality you'll drive yourself nuts. Now that science can convert almost any cells to stem cells you're likely to start pushing for murder indictments for anyone getting a little sunburn. Chill out, guy.
