With the crazy expansion of food stamps and disability roles we're getting pretty close to a majority of dependents on the government dole. I'm hoping Obama and the Demoncrats played their hand a bit too early, but I can see a day when they have a majority of dependents that vote for them granting them all the power they want. Our only long term hope in this nation is for spiritual awakening shaking people from their delusions, with political leaders that stand on Biblical principles working for the good of the nation instead of reelection and opinion polls.

Nothing produces more of a sense of the futility of facts than seeing someone in the mass media repeating some notion that has been refuted innumerable times over the years.

On July 9th, on CNN's program "The Situation Room" with Wolf Blitzer, commentator Gloria Borger discussed President Obama's plan to continue the temporary extension of the tax rates established under the Bush administration -- except for the top brackets, where Obama wanted the tax rates raised.
