And another fundamental right....to *NOT* be a member of a union. Freedom of association means you can choose or not choose to associate with who you will. Compulsion against one's will to be a member of an organization violates this freedom of association. The US has always been built up on the strength of individuals exercising their freedom, not through empowerment of organizations. The bill of rights clearly applies to the rights of individuals.
