Deaf Dialogue on Drones

The difference between an F16 and a drone: In the case of the F16, the plane and the pilot are under the control of the military. With these drone attacks it is our illegitimate POTUS directly giving the orders.

Well, there's a great argument. It doesn't matter whether it is constitutional or not to you, only whether you like this one president.

This also isn't about whether we "like" the alleged president. He failed to prove his legitimacy to campaign for or hold office, and has been repeatedly, conclusively proven NOT to be a Constitutionally legal option. That aside, the big concern is that we know, firsthand, how inclined this alleged president is to ignore Law,Constitution and America's Greater Good,to push his own agenda. What Rand Paul did was get it on record that O and Holder actually KNOW the limits of their authority in these cases, very necessary, for example,if it ever comes down to facing charges of "Crimes Against America",etc. in a World Court. Notice how aggressive he had to get just to get a simple YES or NO answer.

If O and Holder truly believed that they said, why was it so hard for them to give a simple YES or NO answer? I can only figure they fully intend to ignore THAT Constitutional restriction too.
A famous book on negotiation is called "Getting to Yes." Sometimes, though, the better achievement is arriving at "no." That's what Eric Holder and Rand Paul did the other day.

It came in a letter from the attorney general to the Republican senator from Kentucky, which said: "It has come to my attention that you have now asked an additional question: 'Does the President have the authority to use a weaponized drone to kill an American not engaged in combat on American soil?' The answer to that question is no."

Until then, the two had been engaged in a dialogue of the deaf....
