I've hung out with many guys, straight and gay, and there are a multitude of topics that they have in common that they can discuss. Gay men may like sports, cars, guns, and many, many other things that straight men like. The notion that a single topic that they may not find common ground on which to discuss is going to destroy unit cohesiveness is absurd.

Complete crap. Have you ever heard of the depression of 1920? No? Look it up and find out how it was prevented. The myth that FDR got us out of the depression with government spending is just that - a myth.

This is a basic flaw in our system. We have a legislature that is tasked with law making. If they're not making laws, they're not doing their job. Unfortunately, there really is a limit to how many laws we need, but the lawmakers keep trying to find reasons to pass more and more laws, whether we need them or not.

Well, how about all the chemicals and additives, asbestos, etc., that we are told every day will cause cancer. Just because two events occur at the same time, it doesn't automatically mean that one caused the other.
