Political Correctness Run Amok: Some Private Sector Contestants for the U.S. vs U.K. Stupidity Contest

As a Brit myself I can absolutely confirm that we win hands down in a stupidity contest. From the boy who asked ID to by Wine Gums (which contain no wine), to being asked to spy on neighbours to see if they are using hosepipes, to poems being banned from school textbooks because they might scare students, yup, this is one thing we in the UK can be (not-so) proud of winning.

I’ve had some fun on this blog by comparing moronic government policies in the United States and United Kingdom.

In my never-ending search for cheap laughs and juvenile entertainment, I’ve ever turned this into a contest to see which nation has more pathetic and useless bureaucrats.

The United Kingdom has some very strong contestants.
