that code is the reason why there are over 1,300 laws, benefits, and protections that heterosexual unions benefit from that legal homosexual unions can not benefit from.

This is against the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution of Equal Protection under law. This also means that any state of province that allows same-sex unions (Marriage, Civil Union, or otherwise) means nothing in the eyes of the federal government.

Chick-Fil-A appreciation day was a huge huge success and now, liberal gay rights activists are planning to hit back on the company and its values by staging a national "Same-Sex Kiss" day on Friday. Same sex couples are being encouraged by groups like the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation  to engage in kissing inside Chick-Fil-A restaurants. One of the day's main themes is, "kiss more Chiks."
