Hysterical gun control advocates have yet to address "cause and effect." Every action taken is the result of a "thought" that is put into motion. (What is it Obama advises? "If they bring a knife to the fight, you bring a gun!" ) Violence is enacted not only with guns, but knives, explosives, poisons, drugs, fists, tire irons, baseball bats, political propaganda! What are the mental midget liberals going to publicly advocate for next? "Mind control" wherein the "act of thinking" will be declared "unlawful.?" If that is the case, than liberals everywhere can rest easy. That particular cerebral ability is totally aforeign and bsent in liberal DNA.

They are doing policing of thought through the public schools. Right now the hot issues are global warming and bullying. It's not focused on stopping criminal behavior, so they must want some of that.

A handful of Democrats are pressing for tougher gun laws in the wake of the Colorado movie theater shootings that left 12 people dead.

[Rep. Carolyn] McCarthy [D.-N.Y.] and Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) have worked closely together on a bill that would tighten restrictions on gun shows, where firearms can be easily bought by people with criminal records in some states.

Lautenberg, who introduced a measure banning high-capacity ammunition magazines following the Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) shooting, also called for legislative action on the issue.
