You might want to tell the whole story. How we are ALL children of God and that in order for us to progress, God set before us a Plan and asked for a savior. Christ stepped forward and volunteered. Satan also stepped forward to volunteer, but said that in exchange, he wanted God's Glory. For his rebellion, he and his followers were cast out of heaven and now want to make us as miserable as they are. Because of Christ's Atonement, we can overcome the mistakes we make. Because of Christ, we can return to live with God again.
