Perhaps that's true but let's not confuse the granting of amnesty to the several score millions of the "extended families" of God alone knows how many criminal aliens with "immigration," even. Let alone with whatever is conjured up to fall withing the description, "immigration reform. To call criminal aliens, immigrants" is to basta*dize both the English Language and the Law. And to insult real immigrants: Like me, who, with our family members have queued hours in the Denver snow, Seattle's sleet and Los Angeles' summer Sun, just to get into ICE offices to fill out all of the forms to stay legal! And EARN the right to My America!

At the end of the day, the battle over immigration reform is not about dollars and cents. It’s about the soul of a nation. President Reagan reminded us that America must remain a “beacon” and a “shining city on a hill” for immigrants who renew our great country with their energy while adding to economic growth and prosperity.
