Yes, the federal gov't has grown too large, intrusive & expensive, but like it or not, some expenditures are necessary, including IMO medical care & enough cash to put bacon on the table for those such as I. Of course, I'm a bit self-centered on this issue.

You're not alone. We need not try to put everyone in the proverbial box. Citizens have no problem taking care of those who sacrificed for our freedoms or those, due to medical or mental issues, are unable to care for themselves. That is the beauty of our nation.

As a matter a fact, most beleive that we do not do enough for our veterans who have made such a sacrifice. Instead the current crop of Marxist Socialists are hell bent on...

The Senate is expected to tackle a "jobs bill" this month, which is could sic the American people with billions in more debt.

The "Jobs for Main Street Act" costs $174 billion, and is referred to by Republicans as the "son of the stimulus," which cost $787 billion without any bipartisan support whatsoever.
