Actually, I prefer "Climate Change"...what is that you say? Growing up, people in the other parts of the country want various forms of weather and move to those "climates" for their pleasure. I on the other hand wanted to experience the change of seasons - "climate change".......first there is Spring then Summer then Fall and then Winter. "Climate Change" ? I for one are totally in favor of it!!!! :)

One post on another site states it right: "Conservatives want people to be equal at the starting line - liberals want them to be equal at the finish line." Thus the fallacy of liberals really caring for people.
It appears that mlebel wants the extra cash handed to her/him for doing nothing more than making another way of life for a victim.
Fact is that not everyone should go to college. Why do college's offer courses that have no benefit to the student in finding work. As far as artificial increase in wages, you obviously have never run a business or you wouldn't be making such an idiotic statement. You have no clue about what a wage entails. Wages are paid for the value of the work and NOT what you think it means to you. Keeping people happy at a lower expectation doesn't help anyone.

Who Works at the Minimum Wage?

Any artificial wage increase initiated by the government on business has disastrous effects. This increase has no associated increase in productivity to justify the increase. The result of enforcing higher wages on businesses is more unemployment and less opportunity for newer employees entering the workforce. It just doesn't work. People seem to think that the only increase would be to wages of the minimum wage worker but that would be incorrect and naïve at best.

Obama is simply a failure and Companies are going to sit it out until he leaves. Market is up because companies are downsizing and holding onto profits. Also, Bernache's paying $85 billion per month in funny money to keep interest rates down negatively impacts the retired investors and savers.
