Thank you Stossel for being a voice of reason in this atmosphere of wishful thinking b.s. We all want people to have the basic necessities of life but that doesn't mean that they will fall out of the sky. Someone has to produce the goods and services we want and need. The only way government can provide these to people is by taking from some to give to others. It is wrong. Charity should be voluntary.
