Whereas your solution is to keep taking from the productive and giving to the unproductive indefinitely. Perhaps a good start would be to go after fraud, waste and those that abuse the system, drop them off the dole, see where we stand and take it from there.

Breathes big sigh; demand and ability to pay create jobs. If no one wants any thing or they can't pay for anything, no jobs will be created. There is literally no work available for tens of millions of people while thousands of people reap hundreds of millions of dollars from owning heavily automated factories or importing foreign made goods.

My solution is to change the old Capitalistic model that favors old money, Wall Street and the politically connected to a new model that gives the poor a better chance to leverage their hard work and creativity. Do that and the people, not government, can create those 30 million jobs.
I often write and talk about people selling their soul to the merchants of social justice in return for the cushiest life with the least amount of effort. The reason I put it in those terms is because such action goes against not only American DNA but also human nature. Humans at their most basic level are like any other living organism on the planet that want to procreate to keep the species moving along. Once that's been secured there are still instincts like competition and recreation that constitute life, even for domesticated animals.
