Are People Really That Stupid?

There's ignorance and there's stupidity. Ignorance can be fixed, stupidity, not so much. I fear that there are a great number of stupid people, possibly enough to give Obama a second term.

I am beginning to believe its not willful ignorance so much as lazy, selfish practicality that motivates the Obama side. Obama is supported by the recipients of the welfare state, personal and corporate. They know who butters their bread. That ought to scare you way more than the ignorant. The ignorant can be taught. The interminably stupid can be bought. Not these folks.

I hate to have to agree with you but your statement is so true. A good lot of the women included as they will vote themselves into burka's for this jerk

Willful ignorance is stupidity. The national polls are appalling.

The mainstream media, Barack Obama, and Democrats either think people are stupid or fools. Has to be one or the other the way they talk to folks and the whoppers they tell.

Let’s begin with the AP this week whose headline; “Faith In The Economy Holds Steady”. Makes sense because faith is belief without evidence. The reason for such faith? Consumer confidence ‘only’ fell to 69.2.

Doesn’t faith in the economy imply a positive outlook? What on earth is positive about a failing grade? The AP must think we’re all idiots.

Going beyond the headlines we learn...
