Pat, the one hope the Republican Party might have is that in 20 years...after all the Hispanics have been given immunity, and are U.S. citizens...that they'll look around and realize that THEIR taxes are going to pay all sorts of excessive benefits to other minorities who have no work ethic. You know the old saying that if you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can always count on the support of Paul. And if you then rob Jose to pay Paul, you're going to have both Peter and Jose voting against you.

Since 1928, only Dwight Eisenhower and George W. Bush have won the presidency while capturing both houses of Congress for the GOP.

In his 49-state landslide, Richard Nixon failed to take either House. In his two landslides, Ronald Reagan won back only the Senate. Yet Mitt Romney is even money to pull off the hat trick.
