Ethnocentric Studies

Yeah, but Mike...if it weren't for "ethnocentric" (along with the every popular "general studies") majors, most of our football and basketball teams wouldn't have enough eligible players to compete.
Don't we first have to let Eric Holder honk his little clown horn a couple of times to make it official?

Shame on Harry Reid -- and the Post

Could be true...with Harry Reid, you never know. (I notice he was careful to point out that someone "told" him he's covered from any slander suit.) But suppose...because of legal tax credits, and deductions...Romney didn't pay any tax for ten years. Who's more to blame for that: The person (Romney) who had no influence on exactly what the law was, but only paid what it required him to pay, or the person (Reid) who has been a Senator, and therefore in position to help make or change the tax laws?

In the Long Run, Is the GOP Dead?

Pat, the one hope the Republican Party might have is that in 20 years...after all the Hispanics have been given immunity, and are U.S. citizens...that they'll look around and realize that THEIR taxes are going to pay all sorts of excessive benefits to other minorities who have no work ethic. You know the old saying that if you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can always count on the support of Paul. And if you then rob Jose to pay Paul, you're going to have both Peter and Jose voting against you.
Somebody go shoot Dan Gross in the kneecap...that'll shut the dumb SOB up.
According to SCOTUS, the mandate is only legal BECAUSE it's a tax.
Great work, guys...glad we got that settled. Now let's throw a few billion dollars at a new committee, and find out once and for all about those unicorns.

White House: ObamaCare Not a Tax

Billy158 Wrote: Jun 30, 2012 12:10 PM
It has been declared a "Tax" now by SCOTUS, so that's it...end of story. And because it's a tax law, it can be revoked by a simple majority vote in the Senate, and can't be filibustered. And because the White House has been granted Obamacare waivers left and right, anyone who has to pay the penalty can sue under the "equal treatment" law. That's why the White House had been so insistent that it was NOT a tax.
Seems to me the ruling should be clear, but then again... Have to give the giggle-sissy liberals credit, they sure push hard for their point of view. I'd be willing to bet that Justice Kennedy has been approached by people from all the Ivy League colleges and the major news media. They'll have pointed out (unofficially and "off the record", of course) that he stands to be known as (in their eyes) the vote that "struck down" health care reform. There will be lots of tallk about the "wrong side of history" and how this decision will affect his "legacy". Say what you want to, but the liberals sure do know how to apply pressure, and have no scruples in doing it as much as they can. It's still a crap shoot.

Photo ID, the Left, And Voter Fraud
